Okay, it’s not like I’ve spent serious time looking, exactly, but it strikes me there doesn’t seem to be a lot of mentions of Kate Gosselin’s pedal extremities in foot-fetish forums.  The main reason this startles me is that the woman is barefoot in a number of the Jon and Kate shows, and has shown her soles more than once.  I wouldn’t wanna be stranded on a desert island with her, but she does have the MILF thing down pretty good, and she does have nice feet.  I got the pic above from HOTWG, so clearly someone’s paying attention…still, you’d think there would have been some mention of Kate-directed tickle fantasies.

Then this morning I happened to google “Kate Gosselin” with “barefoot” or “bare feet.”  A startling number of hits came up and–cripes!  A multitude of people out there–not foot-fetishists, needless to say–actually hate Kate because she’s barefoot all the time.  Most of these were just people posting in response to news ads or blogs.  I won’t post links here because I suspect they have a definite shelf-life, but check ‘em out for yourself.  Some of them reach a near hysterical pitch–the gist seems to be that Kate Gosselin is a horrible, nasty, wicked woman not only because she drove poor whatshisname nuts but because she’s always barefoot and sits during interviews with her AWFUL DIRTY BARE FEET up so people can see them.  At least one person went into a barking frenzy about how Kate seems to be trying for some kind of seductive effect with all this foot-frolicking, and they (the poster) were REALLY mad about it and wanted her to KNOCK IT OFF.

Most of these people are either women or posting under female names.  It’s true that a lot of women seem to really dislike feet or have a deep, visceral reaction of disgust when bare feet are shown.  Which is weird given the amount of money most of ‘em spend on pedicures.  Either or, I have to admit I was a bit taken aback.  Poor Kate and her tootsies…I call upon my foot-adoring brethern to show her some love and keep her kindly in your thoughts.  I would’ve divorced her too, but I wouldn’t throw those feet out of bed.
